AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
3 THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING SECTION 1553 OF THE TUSTIN
4 CITY CODE RELATIVE TO THE
APPOINTMENT AND TERMS OF MEMBERS OF
5 THE PARKS AND RECREATION
COMMISSION.

The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby
7 ordain as follows:
8 Section 1553 of the Tustin City Code is hereby amended
to read as follows:

"Section 1553. APPOINTMENT AND TERMS

Members of the Parks & Recreation Commission
!! shall be appointed by the City Council. The
terms of office of three (3) of the first
12 appointed members shall be from the time of
their appointment until the third Monday in
13 February, 1990 and the terms of office of
four (4) of the first appointed members shall
!4 be from the time of their appointment until
the third Monday in February, 1991. The term
15 of each of those offices shall thereafter be
for two (2) years commencing on the
16 expiration date of each office as herein
provided.

All members of the Commission shall serve at
18 the pleasure of the City Council and may be
removed upon motion of the City Council
19 adopted by at least three (3) affirmative
votes. All members of the Commission shall
20 serve until their respective successors are
appointed and qualified."

22 PASSSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the
23 6th day of February , 1989.

the City Council of the City of i:ustin is five; that the above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 1016 was duly and regularly introduced and read at a regular meeting
of the City Council held on the 16th day of January, 1989, and was given its
second reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 6th
day of February, 1989, by t~ie following vote:
AYES : COUNCILPERSONS: Kennedy, Edgar, Hoesterey, Kelly, Prescott
NOES : COUNCILPERSONS: None
