2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING
3 TUSTIN CITY CODE SECTION 5331 TO PROVIDE
FOR A "PARKING BY PERMIT ONLY" SYSTEM
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California does
hereby ordain as follows:

The City Council hereby finds and determines as follows:

WHEREAS, the City has receeived numerous complaints
8 regarding the on-street parking of vehicles overflowing from
apartments and condominiums within the City; and

WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the most
10 appropriate method of managing the problem of overflow street
parking in residential areas would be the implementation of a
11 "Parking by Permit Only" system during certain hours for residents
of those streets.

NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin,
13 California does hereby further ordain that Section 5331 (n) be
added to the Tustin City Code as follows:

SECTION 5331 STOPPING, STANDING OR
15 PARKING RESTRICTED OR PROHIBITED ON
CERTAIN STREETS.

"n Parking by Permit Only

The following area (s) have been
18 designated to require a special parking
permit to park vehicles on the streets
19 between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and
6:00 a.m. , seven (7) days a week.

1. Heatherfield Drive and
21 Sandwood Place between Mitchell Avenue
and Cloverbrook Drive."

Ordinance No. 985 was duly and regularly introduced and read at a regular meeting
of the City Co~il held on the 20th day of April, 1987, and was given its second
reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of
May, 1987, by the following vote:
