The proposed project Includes construction of a 980 square foot second residential unit And four car garage oil property with an existing residence which is identified as a "C" rated Victorian Itallanate structure per the Tustin Historical Resources Survey. The Community De velopment Department finds And determines as follows: A The proposed work conforms to the mutjicipal Code and TCC Section 8103(m). B. The prop, -sed work does not adversely affect the character of the District or nc�5*9reated Cultural Resources within the District in that the proposed se --=d unit would be constructed to tht% rear of the existing house and Is consistent with the architectural character of the existing rated structure. As conditioned, the proposed unit will be constructed of materials that match the existing residence as documented in the Tustin historical Resources Survey. C. The proposed work Is harmonious with existing surroundings in that the second unit is consistent with the development standards of the Multiple Family Residential (R•3) zoning district and has been designed to be compatible with surrounding properties. en zabeth A.
