AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 3242
AND 3244 OF THE TUSTIN CITY CODE
PERTAINING TO THE OPERATION OF BINGO
GAMES
The City Council of the City of T, ustin does hereby ordain
as follows:
SECTION I: Subsection "f" of Section 3242 of the Tustin
City Code is added to read:
'.'..f Twelve month .previous ownership
An application for a license shall not be
filed unless ~he applicant is a qualified
organization which has owned or leased the
property within the City of Tustin upon which
any bingo game is to be conducted for at
least 12 months immediately preceeding the
filing of such application which property was
used by the applicant for the performance of
the pu_~poses for which it is organized."
SECTION II: Subsection "1" of Section 3244 is added to
read:
"1 maximum 2 games per week
A licensee may conduct bingo games on only
two days during any seven-day period. This
limitation shall preclude a licensee from
conducting a bingo game at the location
authorized pursuant to the license where
such licensee has conducted two bingo
games at any other location pursuant to
said license or pursuant to any other
license or licenses issued bv the County

i 3 approved pursuant to a license for the con-
! 4 duct of bingo games may be utilized for the
!~i 5 conduct of such games on only two da~s during

.~i 8 bingo games at such location. Once during
~ .. 9 each calendar year, the License and Permit
ii{ " 10 Board may permit a licensee to conduct
~ t! bingo games for more than two days during

i 15 permission shall be limited to bingo games
~ 14 which will be conducted in conjunction
15 with an established annual event regularly
16 held by the licensee, such as an annual
_ 1~ festival, bazaar or similar event-
~ 18 PASSED and ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin City
19 Council, held on the 4th day of June , 1979.

at a regular meeting held on the 4th day of june .,
