HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 801 (1979) ORDINANCE NO. 801 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, PRE-ZONING 1 CERTAIN PROPERTY KNOWN AS IRVINE/PETERS CANYON. The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby ordain as follows: 4 A. The City Council finds and determines: 5 1. That the Planning Agency of the City of Tustin, on the 6 motion of the City Council, initiated proceedings for the pre-zoning from the Orange County Agricultural District to 7 the City of Tustin Planned Community (PC) District certain properties known as the Irvine/Peters Canyon area, more fully 8 described as the area subject. to annexation No- 117, bounded by Irvine Boulevard to the south; wester].y of an alignment 9 with Myford Road; easterly of an alignment with Browning Avenue; and extending northerly to the sphere of influence 10 boundary with the City of Orange, southerly of the Peters Canyon Reservoir. 11 12 2. That after public hearing duly called, noticed and held, the Planning Agency, by Resolution Noo 1812, recommended said pre-zoning. 3. That the proposed pre-zoning is in conformance with the Tustin 14 Area General Plan. 15 4. That an Environmental Impact Report (EIR 78-3), pertaining to the proposed pre-zoning and annexation has been duly con- 16 sidered and certified by the City Council. 17 5. 'That after public hearings duly called, noticed and held, the City Council has determined that said pro-zoning, to 18 include the development criteria as contained in Planning 19 Agency Resolution No. 1812, should be adopted. B. The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tustin is hereby amended to 20 reclassify by pre-zoning the ~roperty shown on Exhibit "A" from Orange County Agricultural District to the City of Tustin Planned Community (PC) District.
