ORDINANCE NO. 750
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTIN, CALIFOFORNIA AMENDING TUSTIN CITY
CODE RELATIVE TO THE DISCHARGE OF FIREARMS.

The City Com~cil of the City of Tustin, California,- does ordain ~j~at
Section 6201 of the Tustin City Code L~ amended to read as follows:

"6201 DISC!LARGE OF FiREARmS, AIR GUNS, ETC., PROHIBITED
"a) It shall be unlawful for any person other ~an a police

officer while on duty to discharge any rifle., pistol, or
firearm within the City except 1) in t~rget shooting ~
shooting galleries regularly licensed by the City, or 2) for
agricultural or other reasonable, non-recreational use
1~ pursuant to and in accordance with a permit duly issued by
14 the License and Pern~t Board.

"b) It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge

any air g'~, spring 9m~, sling shot or other similar device
17
within the City.

"c) It shall be unlawful for any person to thrc,~z, project or

cause to be thrown or projected any object, missile or

projectile of any kind toward any other person in such a
manner as to constitute a hazard of bodily injury to such
person. Usual a~d ordfu~ary sports activities are hereby
excepted frcm the prohibitions of this subsection."

TustLn, Califon~ia, held on the 5th day of December, 1977.
