1 ORDINANCE NO 741.
2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
5 PREZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE COMMERCIAL
4 GENERAL DISTRICT KNOWN AS PREZONE 77-4.
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does
6 ordain as follows:
7 1. The City Council finds and determines:-
8 (a) That the City of Tustin Planning Agency, upon its
9 .own motion, initiated proceedings for the prezoning
10 of certain property from Orange County R-2 District
11 to the City of Tustin Commercial General (CG)
1Z District.
13 (b) That after public hearings duly called, noticed
14 and held, the Planning Agency, by Resolution No.
15 1644 recommended said prezoning.
16 (c) That the proposed prezoning is for the purpose of
17 bringing the zoning classification into conformance
~8 With the Land Use Element of the Tustin Area
19 General Plan.
20 (d) That after public hearings duly called, noticed and
21 held, the City Council has determined that said
~2 amendment should be adopted.
Z5 (e) That the proposed amendment has been granted a
Z4 negative declaration on the basis of insignificant
Z5 environmental impact on the physical environment.
~6 2. The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tustin is hereby
~7 amended to reclassify by prezoning the property located in the
~8 unincorporated area, 230 feet easterly of the centerline of
Ne~port Avenue, bounded by Bonita Street on the south, and a
30 public alley, 210 feet northerly from the centerline of Walnut
51 Avenue on the north, more particularly described in Exhibit "A"
52 attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, from

I Orange County R-2 District to City of Tustin Commercial General
Z (CG) District, effective upon annexation of the-subject property
3 to the City of Tustin.
4 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council,
5 City of Tustin, California, held on the 17th day of October, 1977.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 741 was duly and regularly introduced and
r~ad at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
3rd day of October , 197.7 and was given its second
reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 17th day of October 1977, by the
