ORDINANCE NO. 738
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL, OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
ANNEXATION TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN OF TER-
RITORY KNOWN AS SANTA ANA FREEWAY - MYFORD
ANNEXATION NO. 102 (TRANSFER OF TERRITORY
FROM THE CITY OF IRVINE TO THE CITY OF
TUSTIN).
4 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, hereby ordains as
follows:

6 1. The City Council finds and determines:
f " A) That pursuant to request of the City of Tustin, the Local
8 Agency Formation Conmission of Orange County approved the annexation
9 without notice, hearing or election to the City of Tustin of the
10 territory 'known as Santa Ana Freeway - Myford Annexation No. 102
11 (transfer of territory from the City of Iruine to the City of Tustin),
1~ the legal description of which is set forth in Exhibit "A" attached

15 B) That the City Council of the City of Irvine by resolution
-16 duly adopted has consented to the detachment of said territory from
17 the City of Irvine.
18 C) That the written consent has been received of at least two-
19 thirds (2/3rds) of the Gmers of real property within said territory
~0 and of the persons owning at least two-thirds (2/3rds) of the value of
~1 real property within said territory, to wit the written consent of the
~2 sole g, mer of all the preper~y Ln said territory has been received.
~5 D) That said territory is uninhabited.
~4 E) That the said annexation is categorically exempt from the
Z5 provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act.
Z6 2. The City Council of the City of Tustin does hereby approve the
Z7 annexation of the territory hereinabove described to the City of ~hastin,
~8 and does hereby further resolve that the said territory be and it is hereby
~9 annexed to the City of Tustin, upon the date of the filing of the certified
B~ copy of this Resolution with the ~ Secretary of State of the State of California.

I 3. The property within the annexed territory shall be taxed to pay
2 the indebtedness and liability of the City contracted prior to or existing
3 at the time of annexation.
4 4. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin is hereby directed to transmit
5 to the Secretary of State of the State of California, a certified copy of
6 this Resolution.

Beginning at the most easterly corner of the land described in the U.
Marine Ccrps - Irvin-- Annexation No. 71A to the City of Tustin, Califor-
nia, per City of Tustin Resolution No. 71-79 passed and adopted on
Pecc.~_her 6, 1971, said corner being on the scuthwesterl~.- line of Block
44, Irvine's subdivision, as per mad recorded in Book 1, page S8 of
Miscellaneous .Maps, records of Orange County, California, said ccrner
being N. 49° 20' 32" W., distant 1147' feet more or less from the most
southerly corner of said Block 44;
Thence, along the eXisfing City of Tust'in boundary as established by the
Parcel A Irvine-Myford Annexation No. 81 (amended), per City of Tustin
Ordinance No. 716 passed and adopted April 4, 1977, through the following
described courses:
~. 41° 25' 26" E., 130.00 feet
$. 55° 03' 29" E., 40.68 feet
.S. 49° 20 ' 32" E., 12.67 feet
'Thence, S. 40° 36' 34" W., a distance of 134.04 feet to the most easterly
corner of the Myford Realignment Annexation No. 86 to the City of Tustin,
California, per City of Tustin Resolution No. 74-71, passed and adopted
October 21, 1974;
Thence, N. 49° 20' 32" W., al6ng the existing boundary, of the City of
Tustin as established by last mentioned annexation a distance of 55.00
feet to the 'point of beginning.

Ordinance No. 738 was duly and regularly introduced and
read at a regular meeti'ng of the City Council held on the
6th day of September , 197.7 and was given its second
reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 19th day of September 1977, by the
