ORDINANCE NO. 731
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING THE CITY COUNCIL AS THE PLANNING
C0MMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
4 The City Council, City of Tustin, California does ordain as follows:
5 1. The provisions of the ora~nances and codes of the City of Tustin,
6 specifically including Part 1 of Chapter 5 of Article 1, Sections 1511
~ through 1515, of the 1977 Tustin City Code, and Article 3 of Chapter 2 of
8 the 1963 Tust~n City Code, and Ordinance #568 are hereby amended to read as
9 follows:

16 a The Planning Cc~missicn of the City_ shall have the c~nposi-t/on, juris-
diction, duties, terms of office and other chara~ceristics as provided by
17 law and herein specified. (0rd. No. 568)
18 b State Regulation
19 Subject to the provisions of State Law, the Planning Cu~u,~ssion shall be,
and it hereby is declared to be, re~Uulated by the provisions of the GoverrnTant
Code of the State of California, Statutes of the State of California, and
such aurendments as may be adopted hereafter frcm time to time to either ~or
both. (Ord. No. 568)

23 The City Council shall act as the Planning CaTmission of the City of Tustin.

~5 The City Council sit~g as the Plamning C~f~ssion shall hold its regular
~6 meetings on the first and third Mondays of each month at 7:30 P.M. in the
Council Chambers, except when such a day falls on a legal holiday, in ~nich
event the Ptarm. ing Cc~ission shall meeE at 7:30 P.M. cn the first weeday
27 foll~,ing which is not a legal holiday. The CitT. Council sitting as Pta~ning
C~nvaission may ~eet at such other times and places as may be hereafter
determined frcm tiTe to time by the City Council to be necessary or convenient.
2. This ordinance shall be effective as of July 1, 1977, as an

urgency ordinance to protect and preserve .the public health and ~.~lfare.
