HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 725 (1977) 309 ORDINANCE NO. 725 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE R-3 DISTRICT The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby ordain as follows: 1. The City Council finds and determines: (a) That the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin, upon its own motion, initiated ~roceedings for a zone change amendment in conformance with the land use element of the General Plan. (b) That after public hearings duly called, noticed and held, the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin recommended said amendment by its adoption of Resolution 1622. (c)- That after public hearings duly called, noticed and held, the City Council has determined that said amendment should be adopted. (d) That the proposed amendment has been granted a negative declaration on the basis of insignificant environmental impact on the physical environment. (e) That proposed zone change ~]o. 77-4 reclassifies the subject property from the R-2 district' to the R-3-2000 multi-family residential district. (f) That the proposed zone change is in conformance with the Tustin Area General Plan. 2. The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tustin is hereby amended as follows: (a) The property generally described as the ~]ewport- Orange Annexation No. 99, as more particularly described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby reclassified from the R-2 district to the R-3-2000 multi-family residential district in conformity with the land use element of the General Plan. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council, City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of June, 1977.
