ORDINANCE NO. 723
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
PREZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY TO THE MULTI-FAMILY
(R-3-2000) DISTRICT KNOWN AS PREZONE 77-3
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California
, does
ordain as follows:
1. The City council finds and determines:
(a) That the Planning Commission of the City of Tustin,
upon its own motion, initiated proceedings for the prezoning
of certain property from Orange County R-2 District to the
City of Tustin Multi-Family (R-3-2000) District.
(b) That after public'hearings duly called, noticed
and held, the Planning Commission, by Resolution No. 1624
recommended said prezoning.
(c) That the proposed prezoning is for the purpose
of bringing the zoning classification into conformance
with the designation of the Land Use Element of the
Tustin Area General Plan.
(d) That after public hearings duly called, noticed
and held, the City Council has determined that said
prezoning should be adopted.
(e) That the proposed prezoning has been ~ranted
negative environmental impact determination on the basis
of no change in the physical environment.
2. The Zoning Ordinance of the City of Tustin is hereby
amended to reclassify by prezoning the property located on the
easterly side of Newport Avenue, northerly of Bonita Street and
southerly of San Juan Street and extending westerly of Orange
Street by a distance of approximately 400 feet, more particularly
described in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein
by reference, from Orange County R-2 District to City of Tustin
Multi-Family (R-3-2000) District, effective upon annexation of the
subject property to the City of Tustin.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meetin~ of the City Council,
City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of June, 1977. ~-

reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
