ORDINANCE No.722
AN ORDINANCE of the City of Tustin,
California, Amending the Tustin Sign Code.
~ The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
does hereby ordain as follows:

" 1. The City Council finds and determines:
a. That a proper amendment to the'Sign Code has
6 been initiated by the Planning Commission to
assure compliance with approved plans and
7 permits.
b. That the Planning CommiSsion after public
8 hearing duly called, noticed and held,
recommended said amendment;
9 c. That the City Council delay called, noticed
and held a public hearing on said proposed
10 amendment to the Sign Code.
· d. That the proposed amendment is categorically
11 exempt from the requirements of an environ-
mental impact report.
2. The-City Council hereby amends the Tustin Sign
15 Code by adding to Article 2, the following:
14 Section 7 - Assurance Bond
15 When a sign contractor has been put on written
notice of violation of the City Codes and Ordin-
16 ances within the previous two year period, the

tions of a sign permit and the requirements of
19 the City of Tustin Sign Code. Said security
shall be refunded upon inspection and determina-
Z0 tion of compliance. Failure to comply within
six months of the date of permit application
~1 shall result in forfeiture of security.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of June, 1977.
