AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 155 RELATATIVE
TO WEED ABATEMENT.

~ The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does ordain as follows:
4 1. That subsection (6) of Ordinance 155 of the City of Tustin is hereby
5 amended to read as follc~s:
6 SubsectiOn (6) - Assessment Lien. The superintendent of streets, or
V such other official as may be designated by the City Council, shall keep,
8 or cause to be kept, in his office a ment record shc~ing the legal
9 description, as shown on the last Equalized Assessment Roll of the County
10 of Orange, of each piece of property or lots from ~4~ich, or the street,
11 alley, sidewalk or right-of-way abutting said property frc~n which said
1Z weeds, rubbish or other material have been removed under the provisions of
~5 this ordinance, and said record book shall show any and all expense incurred
14 by the City in the removal of said weeds, rubbish or other material as said
~5 expense relates to each separate property ownership. Each entry in said ·
~16 record book shall be made upon the cnmpletion of work done on each piece of
17 property or lot, or upon a street, alley, parkway or a sidewalk abutting _
-18 thereon. After such entry 'has been made in said book, the same shall
19 constitute an assessment against the parcel of land and thereafter said
~0 assessment shall be confirmed by motion of the City Council, and the
21 assessment, after made and confirmed, and upon recordation of' such order of
2~ the City Council confirming the assessment in the office of the County
25 Recorder of the county in which the property is situated, shall become a
24 lien upon the parcel.
25 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting held on the 2nd day of May, 1977. ,
