HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 711 (1977)260 -, 1 ORDINANCE NO. 711 2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE : CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, REVISING 8 PRIMA FACIE SPEED LIMITS ON CERTAIN STREETS - The City o~' Tu.~tin; Ca!ifernia~ aoes ordain as follows: 1. It is hereby determined that the speed permitted by G State law as applicable upon the following streets is other than is reasonable and it is hereby declared that the prima 7 facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth on those streets, or parts of streets, herein designated when signs 8 have been erected giving notice thereof. 9 2. The prima facie speed limit for vehicular traffic on the following streets, or portions of streets, is hereby -10 established as hereinafter set forth, effective when signs have been erected giving notice thereof. 11 3. Provided, further, however, that in any instance 12 where the prima facie speed limit as fixed by the vehicle code of the State of California is less than the prima facie ~8 speed limit hereby determined and fixed, then the prima facie speed limit which is provided in the Vehicle Code shall be -14 applicable. 15 4. The streets, or portions of streets within the Tustin City limits, affected and the declared prima facie 16 speed limit shall be as follows: 1~ NAME OF STREET OR PORTION DECLARED PRIMA FACIE AFFECTED SPEED LIMIT 18 Cherrywood Lane between 25 Miles Per Hour 19 Walnut Avenue and Raintree Road Raintree Road between 25 Miles Per Hour 9-1 Walnut Avenue and Cherrywood Lane PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council 9.8 'of the City of Tustin, California, held on the22nd day of February, 1977. 25 ? 26 MA OR 27 ATTEST': 29 / c"?" .._t.
