ORDINANCE NO. 710

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
Z REVISING THE OFFICIAL HOLIDAYS UPON WHICH OFFICES
OF THE CITY SHALL BE CLOSED.
4 SECTION 1: Section 1201 of the Tusuin City Code is
5 hereby amended to read as follows:.
6 SECTION 1201 CITY HOLIDAYS
V The following are the holidays of the City, and on these
8 days the public offices of the City shall be closed:
9 Saturdays
~ ~.~ = Sundays
10 January 1 New Year's Day
3rd'Monday in February Washington's Birthday
11 Last Monday in May Memorial Day
July 4 Independence Day
12 1st Monday in September Labor Day
November 11 Veteran's Day
t3 The Thursday in November desig-
nated by the President or
14 Governor as Thanksgiving Day Thanksgiving Day
The day following the THursday
15 Thanksgiving Day Day after Thanksgiving
Day --
16 Afternoon before the
Christmas Holiday Christmas Holiday Eve
17 December 25 Christmas Day
Afternoon before the New
18 Year's Day Holiday New Years Holiday Eve
19 When a holiday occurs on a Sunday, the following Monday
will be observed. When a holiday occurs on a Saturday, the
20 preceding Friday will be observed.
SECTION 2: Ordinance No. 489(Revised) is hereby
recinded.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Tustin
City Council held on the22nd day of February, 1977.

reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 22nd day of February 1977, by the
