! ORDINANCE NO. 698
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TUSTINI AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE
RELATIVE TO ANIMAL CONTROL REGULATIONS,
LICENSING OF ANIMAL FACiLITIES, AND REPEALING
ORDINANCE NO. 695
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does --
6 ordain as follows: _
7 Section 1: Ordinance No. 695 of the City Council .of the
8 City of Tustin, is hereby repealed.
9 Section 2: Section 4-24 of the Tustin City Code is hereby
!0 amended to read as follows:
!1 Section 4-24: County Ordinances .adopted. Subject to the
12 particular additions, deletions and amendments
15 hereinafter set forth in this Section, the rules,
14 regulations, provisions and conditions set forth
15 in Articles 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10
16 of Division 1 of Title IV and Divisions 1, 2,
17 and 3 of Title V of the Codified Ordinances of
18 the 'County of Orange, as amended,-or hereafter
19 amended, are adopted and made a part hereof as
20 though fully set forth herein as a part of the
21 Tustin City Code and the-same are hereby
22 established and adopted as the'rules, regulation-~
25 provisions and conditions to be observed and
2~_ followed to govern animal control, .w~lfare and
25 license requirements. in the City of Tustin.
26 Three full print copies of the above Codified
27 Ordinances of the County of Orange are ordered
28 to be kept on file in the Office of the City
29 Clerk of the City of Tustin.
50 Section 3: Section 4-25 of the Tustin City Code is hereb}
51 amended to read as follows:

1 Section 4-25: Amendments to County Ordinance. Each and ever
reference set forth in ~-
~ County Ordinances
5 referred to in Section 4-24 of the Tustin City
" ~ Code, to "Board of Supervisors", shall be deemed
5 to mean "City Council" and each and every
6 reference to the "County" or "County of Orange"
7 shall be deemed to mean "City of Tustin."
8 Section 4: Section 4-26 of the Tustin City Code is hereby
9 amended to read as follows:
10 Section 4-26: Penalties. Any person who violates any of the
11 provisions of Division 1 of Title IV or
12 Division 1, 2, or 3 of Title V of the'Codified
15 Ordinances of t~e County of Orange within .the
14 City. of Tustin shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.
15 Section 5: Section 4-27 of the Tustin City Code is hereby
-- 16 amended to read as follows:
17 Section 4-27: The repeal of ordinances or parts of ordinance:
18 effectuated by the enactment of this ordinance
19 shall not be construed as abating any actio.ns
20 now pending under or by virtue of such ordinance
21 or as discontinuing, abating and modifying or
22 altering any penalty accrued or to accrue or
25 as effecting the liability of any person, firm
24 or corporation or as waiving any right of the
25 municipality under any section or provisions
26 existing at the time of the passage of this
2~ ordinance.
~,, 28 Section 6: The City Council of the City of Tustin, Californi~
29 finds and determines that the enactment of this
30 ordinance as an emergency', urgency measure is
51 required for the preservation of public health
3~ and welfare, and this ordinance sh~ll go into

1 effect immediately upon adoption.
2 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular mee~ing of the City Council

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council

Ordinance No. 698 was duly and regularly introduced and'
