AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
2 OF TUSTIN PERTAINING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT OF
THE TUSTIN COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY
~' The City Council of the City of ~ustin hereby ordains as

follows:

1. Recognizing the existence of the redevelopment agenq

in the City of Tustin as established by California Health and
Safety Code Section 33000, the City Council declares that there i:

9 a need for the redevelopment agency to function in the City of
Tus ti n.

2. The City Council, pursuant to California Health and-
11
Safety Code Section 33200, declares itself to be the RedeveloDmen~
15 Agency of the City, and all the rights, powers, duties, privitege~
and immunities shall be deemed vested in the City Council as the

Agency.

3. The Agency created by this ordinance shall be known
" 16
as the "Tustin Community Redevelopment Agency".

4. Members of the Agency shall not receive any compen-
18
19 sation but shall be reimbursed for actual and necessary expenses,
including travel, incurred in the discharge of their duties as

members of the Agency.

5. The territorial limits of the Agency shall be the
2'5 territorial limits of the City of Tustin. Designated survey areas
for redeVelopment projects shall be established by Resolution
25 adopted by the City Council, or in the alternative, the City
Council may by ReSolution authorize the City Planning Commission

to designate survey areas. The project area shall be selected by
the Planning Commission in accordance with the provision~ of
29 California Health and Safety Code Section 33320.1 and following.
6. The Tustin Community Redevelopment A~ency shall be
51 vested with all powers as provided by the Community Redevelopment
Law and

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council,
3 City of Tustin, California, held on the 20th day of October, 1976.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing

4th day'of October ; 1976 and was given its second
reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular meeting
held on the 20th day of October 1976, by the
