AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 633 OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
RELATIVE TO REGULATIONS OF BURGLARY AND ROBBERY
ALARM SYSTEMS.
The City of Tustin, California, ordains as follows:
~ 1. Section 17 of Ordinance No. 63.3 is hereby amended

by the deletion therefrom of sub-paragraph (b), effective
upon adoption of this ordinance. All fees heretofore. assessed
6
for false alarms ate hereby cancelled.'
2. Section 17 of Ordinance No. 633 is hereby amended,

effective January 1, 1976, to read as follows:

Section 17. False Alarms-Prevention and Payment

11 (a) When emergency messages are received by the
12 Police Department that evidence a failure to
13 comply with the requirements of this ordinance,
14 the Police Chief is authorized to demand that
15 the owner or lessee of the alarm system
-"- 1~ initiating s~ch messages, or his representative,
_ 17 disconnect the alarm system until it is mad.e
18 to comply with said requirements..
19 (b) The owner or lessee of any alarm system shall
20 be assessed a fee of $10.00 for. each false
21 alarm transmitted to the police department in
22 a 12 month period after three such ~alse
23 alarms. Such fee shall be paid to the City
~4 Treasurer for deposit in the general fund.
25 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
