2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO
~,. ~ REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AND PARKING ON PRIVATELY
OWNED PROPERTY.

The City of Tustin, California, does hereby ordain as

follows:

1. The Tustin City Code is hereby amended by the
addition thereto of Section 14-6 to resd as follows:

No person shall park or leave a vehicle in a
9
private or public driveway, or on private property,
10
including any parking lot of a shopping center or
11
store, without the express or implied consent of
the owner or person in lawful possession of the
property served by such driveway or of such private
14
property, including the parking or leaving of a
15
vehicle in a manner or place thereon not in
~ accordance with the posted signs, painted stripes
17
or curbs indicating no parking or special or
18
limited parking by being painted red (no parking),
19
yellow (commercial vehicle parking only), green
(24 minute parking only) or white (passenger
21
loading only).
2. The Tustin City Code is hereby amended by~he
addition thereto of Section 14-7 to read as follews:
The City Council finds and declares that the
privately owned and maintained parking lots,
roads, ways and driveways hereinafter described,
the owners of all of which said properties have
consented hereto, will best be served by, and from
the effective date of this section shall be subject

to, the application of the provisions of the
Tustin City Code relative to vehicular traffic and
parking and to the provisions of Chapter 12 of
1 Division 11, commencing with Section 23100, of the
2 Vehicle Code of the State of California:

11 and driveways as may from time to time hereafter
12 be so designated by ordinance or resolution of the
13 City Council, the owners of all of which such
14 property shall have consented thereto.
1D Signs shall be posted and maintained by the
16 respective-owners of each such property at the
17 entrances to such roads, ways and driveways, which
18 shall be not smaller than 45 inches by 30 inches,
19 with letters not less than 3 inches in height, and
20 of such size, shape and color as to be readily
21 legible during daylight hours at a distance of 100
22 feet, which shall state:

REG. BY C.V.C. AND
24 TUSTIN CITY CODE.
VIOLATING VEHICLES
25 MAY BE CITED AND/
OR TOWED AWAY.
