ORDINANCE NO. 965

AN URGENCY ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL
4 OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 948 AND THE
5 EFFECTIVE DATE THEREOF.

7 WHEREAS, the City Council has heretofore adopted
Ordinance No. 948, an Ordinance of the City Council of the
8 City of Tustin, California, Adding Section 2800 to the Tustin
City Code, Adopting a Major Thoroughfare and Bridge .Fee
9 Program and the effective date of said Ordinance was
thereafter amended by Urgency Ordinance; and

WHEREAS, the City Council desires to amend Ordinance
11 No. 948 so as to change the effective date thereof.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Tustin
hereby ordainls as follows:

1. Ordinance No. 948 is hereby amended by the
14 amendment of Section 2 thereof, to read as follows:
15 "This Ordinance shall not be in force
and effect until February 26, 1986, upon
16 which date it shall become in force and
effect unless subsequent hereto said
17 Ordinance has been further amended by
the City Council as to its effective
18 date."
19 2. This Ordinance is adopted as an Urgency Ordinance,
effective immediately, in order to protect and preserve the
20 public safety and welfare which would otherwise be subject to
substantial detriment by reason of potential location of major
21 roads in inappropriate areas.
22 PASSSED AND ADOPTED at a meeting of the City Council' of
the City ~of Tustin, California, held on the 18th day of
23 February, 1986.

nance No. 965 was duly and regularly introduced and read at an adjourned regular
meeting oft"{FTe City Council held on the 18th day of February, 1986, and was given
its second reading and duly passed and adopted at an adjourned regular meeting
held on the 18th day of February, 1986, as an urgency measure by the following
vote:
