AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
2 AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO REPEAL ARTICLE
III OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE TUSTIN CITY CODE AND
8 ASSUME THE POWERS AND DUTIES OF THE PLANNING
4 COMMISSION BY THE CITY COUNCIL.
5 The City CounCil of the City of Tustin, California,
8 does ordain as foiiows:
? 1. Article III of Chapter 2 of the Tustin City
8 Code is hereby repealed.
2. The City Council of the City of Tustin shall
9 hereafter possess and exercise all of the powers and duties ~f
'10 a planning Commission as set forth in the general laws of the
State of California.
ll 3. The City Council finds and determines that the
12 public health, safety and welfare require that this ordinance
become effective immediately and this ordinance is hereby
18 adopted as an urgency ordinance effective immediately upon
adoption.
14 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
15 Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 7th day of
January, 19 74.

Council of the City of Tustin, California, does hereby
certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that the above and foregoing
Ordinance No. 608 was duly and regularly introduced and
read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on the
7th. day of January , 1974 and was given its second reading
and duly passed and adopted as an emergency, urgency measure
at a regular meeting held on the 7th day of January
1974, by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: SALTARELLI, LANGLEY, WELSH, WOODRUFF, SHARP
NOES: COUNCILMEN: NONE
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: NONE
