2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO THE
~ PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN
4 The City of Tustin, California, does ordain that~ Ar
5 III of the Tustin City Code be amended to read as follows:
6 ARTICLE III
~ PLANNING COMMISSION :
8 Sec. 2-9. Planning Commission
9 The Planning Commission of the City shall have the composi-
tion, jurisdiction, duties, terms of office and other
l0 characteristics as provided by law and herein specified.
Sec. 2-10. Composition; Vote
The Planning Commission will consist of five (5) members,
appointed by the City Council, each of whom shall have
one vote in all matters to be determined.
Sec. 2-11. Registered Voters,
No person shall be eligible to be appointed to serve or
to continue to serve on the Planning Commission who is
not a registered voter of t~e City of Tustino
Sec. 2-12.o Appointment and Term of Office of Members.
Members 'of the Planning Commission shall be appointed by
resolution of the City Council. Each Commissioner shall
-19 serve for a term of two (2) years, except that ~hen a
member dies, resigns, or is removed prior to the expira-
tion of his term, his successor shall be appointed to
serve the remainder of such term.
The terms of Commissioners shall expire on June 30, with
three (3) terms expiring in even-numbered years commenc-
ing in 1974, and two (2) terms expiring in odd-numbered
years, commencing in 1975.
Sec. 2-13. Removal of Members.
Any member of the Planning Commission may be removed at
any time by the City Council.
Sec. 2-14. Meetings°

The Planning Commission shall hold its regular meetings
28 on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, at 7:30 P.M~
in the council chambers of the City of Tustin, except
Z9 when such day falls on a legal holiday, in which event
the Planning Commission shall meet at 7:30 P.M.~ on the
50 first week day following which is not a legal holiday.
The 'Planning Commission may meet at such otherI times and
~1 places as may be determined hereafter from time to time
by the City Council or the Planning Commission' to be neces-

Sec. 2-15
~ Subject to the provisions of State law, the Planning
Commission shall be, and it hereby is declared to be,
~' ~ regulated by the provisions of the Government Code of the
State of California, Statutes of the State of California,
..... 4 and such amendments as may be adopted hereafter from time
to time to either or both.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
V Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 15th day of January, 1973.

certify that the whole number of members of the City Council
of the City of Tustin is five; that'the above and fore-
going Ordinance No. 568 was duly and regularly introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council held on
the 3rd day of January , 197 3 , and was given
its second reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular
meeting held on the 15th day of January , 1973, by
the following vote:
