2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO REVISE THE ,
~ MEMBERSHIP OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,

does hereby ordain as follows:

1. Section 2-18 of the Tustin City Code is hereby
amended to read as follows:

Section 2-18 Created; Composition; Appointment;

Terms of Members; Vacancies and Removal

There is hereby created a Parks and Recreation
11 Commission of the City. Such Commission shall consist of seven
(7) members, who shall be appointed by the City Council for
12 terms of two years which shall cDntinue on their present
~ staggered basis. -Vacancies shall be filled by the City Council
15 for the unexpired portion of the term of such vacant position.
The City Council shall appoint not more than two members who
14 shall be members of the Board of the Tustin Unified School
District, and one member who is a student at Tustin High School
15 when such qualified nominees are available. Commissioners shalll"'
serve at the pleasure of the City Council.

A quorum shall be a majority of the Commissioners
17 who have been appointed.
~8 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
19 Council of the City of Tustin~ California, held on the 3rd day of January 1973.
