2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AMENDING THE
ZONING ORDINANCE, NO. 157, AS AMENDED RELATIVE
3 TO THE REQUIREMENT FOR ZONE BOUNDARY WALLS.

5 The City Council does hereby ordain as follows:
6 Upon recommendation of the .Planning Commission, after
V public hearing duly called, noticed and held, and after public
8 hearing 'duly called, noticed and held by the City Council, the
9 City Council hereby amends the Zoning Ordinance, No. 157, as
10 amended, by the addition thereto of Section 5.11 (B) (5) to read
11 as follows:
12 "(5) Provided, however, the Director, Community
I! Development, may waive or modify any wall require-
13 ments as specified in this section where there is
a solid masonry wall existing inu~ediately adj.acent
· 14 on the contiguous property, upon finding and requir-
ing that:

"a) An existing wall meets or can be modified
16 conform to the intent of this section; and
17 "b) Suitable landscaping can be installed
adjacent to the existing wall to supplement
18 and enhance the environmental buffering; and
19 "c) Protection can be afforded the existing
wall to prevent vehicle damage, if necessary; and
"~{'~ "d) Concurrence of the adjacent property owner
21 can be obtained, when necessary, to modify an
existing wall to meet the requirements of this
22 section."
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City'
24 Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of December 1971

its second reading and duly passed and adopted at a regular
meeting held on the 6th day of December 1971
