AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
2 OF TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMINING THE AMOUNT
OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION
~ UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF
. TUSTIN AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO
" 4 CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF SAID CITY
FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72

The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain

as follows:

Section 1: That'it is hereby determined and declared
8 bY~"the. City Council of the City of Tustin that the sum of
$2,127,07Z00 is the amount of revenue necessary to be raised
9 in order to carry on the various departments of the City of
Tustin for the fiscal year 1971-72.

Section 2: That of said sum of $2,127,077.00 it is
11 anticipated that there will be received, as income from various
sources other than through property tax levy, the sum of
12 $1',587,894.00 and that it will be necessary to raise the sum of
$539,183.00 by tax levy upon the property .within the City of
13 Tustinl
14 Sectio_n 3: That' in addition to said'sum, the sum of
$72,000 is the revenue necessary to be raised to meet the debt
15 service expense of the 1971 Park Bonds and that it will be
necessary to raise that sum by separate tax leVy upon the prop-
_ 16 erty within the City of Tustin.
17 Section 4: Of the amount budgeted' for street con-
struction ~nd traffic signals, $423,349.00 will be paid from
18 the Special Gas Tax Funds, and $13,200.00 from the City
Beautification Fund.

Section 5: Of the amount budgeted for the repair and
20 maintenance of City streets, traffic signals, and traffic signs,
'$107,0.00'.00 will be paid from Special Gas Tax Funds, $60,000.00
21'~ from the 'Traffic Safety Fund, and $2,034.00 from the City
Beautification Fund.

Section 6: That the City Council hereby finds and
23 'determines that the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency,
urgency measure is required.for the preservation of public
24 health and welfare, and this Ordinance shall go into effect-
immediately upon adoption.

PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City

Council held on'the 16th day of August, 1971.
