AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING TIlE SIGN ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 438,
RELATIVE TO SIGNS AFFIXED TO VEHICLES.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California

ordains as follows;

That after public hearing duly called, noticed and
6 held, and upon recommendations of the Planning Commission, the
City Council hereby amends the Sign Ordinance, Ordinance No. 438,
7 relative to signs affixed to vehicles, to read as follows:
8 Article V, Section 4, subparagraph a) is amended to
read as follows:

a) Any sign erected for the purpose of advertising a
10' product, event, person or subject not related to
the premises upon which said sign is located,
11 except directional signs, is prohibited, including
any sign maintained UDOn or affixed to any vehicle
12 which is used primarily to support or display
such sign while parked on public or private pro-
15 perty, other than for the purposes of lawfully
making deliveries or sales of merchandise or
14 rendering services from such vehicle.

Article V, Section 4 be further amended by the addition
16 thereto of subparagraph i), to read as follows:
I7 i) Business signs on or affixed to trucks, automobiles,
trailers or other vehicles, used primarily to sup-
18 port or display such signs while parked on public
or private property, other than for the purpose of
19 lawfully making deliveries or sales of merchandise
or rendering services from such vehicles.

21 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
~2 Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 7th day of June, 1971.
