AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
AMENDING SECTION 1-17 OF THE TUSTIN CITY CODE
TO PRESCRIBE CITY HOLIDAYS
The City Council of the City of ~stin, California, does
ordain as follows:
Section 1-17 of the Tustin City Code is hereby amended to
provide as follows:
1-17 City Holidays:
The following are the holidays of the City, and on these
days the public offices of the City shall be closed:

Sunday

New yearns Day
Third Monday in February Washington~s ~irthday
Last Monday in May Memorial Day

First Monday in September Labor Day
Fourth Monday in October Veterans" Day
The Thursday in November

When a holiday occurs on a Sunday~ the foiiowinc I~ondav will
observed. When a holiday occurs on a Saturday, the Preceding
-Friday will be observed.

cil held on the 7th day of December, 1979.
