HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 480 (1970) ORDINANCE NO. 480 1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 2 OF TUSTIN, FIXING AND DETERMININC THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO BE RAISED BY TAXATION ~" 3 UPON THE TAXABLE PROPERTY WITHIN THE CITY OF TUSTIN AND THE AMOUNT OF REVENUE NECESSARY TO 4 CARRY ON THE VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE SAID CITY FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1970-71 5 The City Council of the City of Tustin does ordain 6 as follows: Section 1: That it is hereby determined and declared 8 by the City Council of the City of Tustin that the s'~m of $1,831,100.00 is the amount of revenue necessary to be raised 9 in order to carry on the various departments of the City of Tustin for the fiscal year 1970-71. i0 Section 2: Than of said sum of $1,831,100.00 it is 11 anticipated that there will be received, as income from various sources other than through propert~ tax levy, the sum of 12 $1,340,276.00 and that it will be necessary to raise the s~m of $490 , 824 . 00 by tax levy upon the property within the City !3 Of Tustin. Section 3: Of the amount budgeted for street conszructi~ and traffi~ signals, $29,600.00 will be paid from the Traffic .-- 15 Safety Fund, $245,200.00 from the Special Gas Tax Funds, and $11,000.00 from the City Beautification Fund 16 · Section 4: Of the amount budgeted for the repair and i7 maintenance of City streets, 'traffic signals, and traffic signs, $55,140.00 will be paid from Special Gas Tax Funds and $27 400 00 18 from the Traffic Safety Fund.
