2 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ADDING ARTICLE VI TO CHAPTER 4 TO THE TUSTIN
5 CITY CODE PROHIBITING DOGS IN CITY PARKS.
4 The City of'Tustin, California, does hereby ordain as
5 follows:
6 1. Article VI is hereby added to Chapter 4 of the Tustin
7 City Code 6o read as follows:
8 Article VI: Prohibition of Dogs in City Parks
9 Section. 4-24 Dogs Prohibited
10 No person having a dog in his care or under his
control, to whom any dog is licensed, or by whom any dog
11 is owned, shall cause or permit such dog to go upon or
remain in any City Park, except in such portions of parks
12 as may be designated from time to time by the City Ad-
ministrator as allowable for dogs and so posted.

14 Section 4-25 Exceptions
15 a) The provisions of this Article shall not
apply to any regularly. registered Seeing Eye Guide Dog.

b) The City Administrator may grant a permit
17 for the use of lany City Park by any Organization for pur-i
poses of dog training or showing, upon his determination
18 that such activity would not have an adverse effect upon
the park and its improvements, .the public use thereof,
19 upon the quiet enjoyment and general welfare of adjacent
residents or the general welfare of the City of Tustin.
