ANNLXT.ION OF TF.P.RI'1'ORY KNO[~N AS 'iHE "SYCA:`iORi;-REDHILL ANNG\ATION N0. 85 OF THE CITY OI' TUSTI::. The City of Tustin, California, ordains as follows: 1. The City Council finds and determines: A. By Resolution No. 75-49 the City Council, City of. Tustin, declared its intention to call a special el e.;.tion to be held on the 4th day of November, 1975, in certain inhabited territory contiguous to said City proposed to be a:rnexed to the City, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified electors residing in said territory the question whether or not the territory shall be annexed to the City; and B. Copy of said Resolution was published as required by law; and C. A hearin„ was held pursuant to Section 351.17 of the Government Code for receipt and consideration of written requests f.or exclusion of property from the proposed annexation filed prior to the time of said hearing; and for hearing any and all interested persons appearing at said hearing; and D. All proceedings have been had in accordance with said Resolution and the Annexation Act of 1913, reference thereto hereby being made for further particulars; anti E. For the purpose of holding said election there shall be one (L) voting precinct comprising all of said territory. ~Jhereas there are no more than 300 persons registered to vote in said precinct, pursuant to Sections 14620.5 and 22032 of. the Elections Code of the State of California, there shall be no polling place in the precinct for said election. The City Clerk shall, not less than 29 days prior to election day, mail an application blank for an absent voter ballot to each registered voter, together with a statement that there will be no polling place in the precinct for the election, and if the voter desires to vote at the election, he shall apply for an absent voter ballot not less than seven days before the election or vote at the office of the City Clerk on election day. The City Clerk's office is located - Tustin City Center, Centennial Way at '.`fain Street, Tustin, California, and shall be open between the hours of 7 o'clock A..1. and 7 o'cloci; I'.?1. for any voter who has not voted on an absent voter ballot. 4. On all particulars not herein recited said election shall be held in conformity, as near as ray be, with the laws of the State of California concerning general elections and with said Annexation Act of 1913. 5. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin, California, shall publish a Notice of said special election as required by the Annexation Act of 1913, at least once a week for the four (4) weeks prior to the date of the election on November 4, 1975, in The Register, a newspaper of general circulation printed and published outside of the City of Tustin and in the territory proposed to be annexed. 6. This Ordinance shall take effect upon its publication. 7. The City Clerk of the City of Tustin, California, shall certify to the adoption of this Ordinance and cause thc: same to be published once in the Tustin \ecas, a newspaper published in the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California.
