HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 453 (1969) 1 ORDINANCE NO. 453 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALI- FORNIA, AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO FEES FOR APPLICATIONS AND PER- MITS, AND TO REGULATION OF TAXICABS 5 The City of Tustin, California, does hereby ordain 6 as follows: V Section'l: Section 2-79 of the Tustin City Code is 8 hereby am~.nded by the addition thereto of the following: 9 The fee for each application to the License and Permit Board shall be $25.00. Provided, however, 10 that the application fee shall be waived for any application for any activity to be conducted, 11 managed or carried on wholly for the benefit of charitable, religious, eleemosynary or benevolent 12 purposes, or by any non-profit institution or organization where al~';the net proceeds of the 15 activity are set aside for charitable, religious, 14 eleemosynary or benevolent purposes. Provided further that if part of the proceeds of 15 an activity are certified to be used for or set aside for the benefit of any charitable, religious, 16 eleemosynary or benevolent purpose and a part of the proceeds are to be received by or 'for the 17 direct or indirect benefit of any other person, company, institution or organization, then the 18 application fee shall be ~harged in the same pro- portion as the percentage of the proceeds to be 19 received by an organization other than a charitable, religious, eleemosynary or benevolent organization 20 bears to the total proceeds. ~1 Section 2: Section 21-15 of the Tustin City Code ~ is hereby amended to read as follows: 25 SeCtion 21-15 ~4 An inspection fee of $5.00 shall be required for each taxicab inspected by the Police Department, ~5 and $10.00 for each taxi stand inspected by the Police Department. The aforesaid fees shall be 26 in addition to any and all other fees or taxes 27 imposed by any other applicable ordinances. 28 Section 3: Section 21-18 of the Tustin City Code is amended to read as follows: 29 Section 21-18. ReplaCing Ta~Cahs' 51 The holder of a permit may replac~ any taxicab or add any additional taxicab, provided: 1 .=~'!L a) That any proposed replacement or additional taxicab shall first have been approved by the Police Department for compliance,. with all conditions of the permit and applicable provisions of the Tustin City Code, and 4 b) That .the total number of taxicabs of the permiU · -- holder shall not exceed the maximum number permit- 5 ted by lhlS permit. 6 .Section 4: Section 21-19 of the Tusttn City Code V is hereby repealed. 8 PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the 9 City Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 1st day of December , 1969. · 14 ATTEST: 16 ~?
