HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 444 (1969) ORDINANCE NO.444 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO FEE SCHEDULE FOR SERVICES AT ANIMAL SHELTER The City of Tustin, California, does hereby ordain as fol lows: 1. Section 4-21 of the Tustin City Code is hereby amended to read as-follows: ~-Sec~Lon 4-21 Fee schedule for services at animal shelter (a) Dally care and feed ( 1 ) Large anima 1 81.00 (horses, cows and animals of similar size) (2) Medium animal 1.00 (goats, sheep, pigs and animals of similar size) (3) Dogs, cats: and miscellaneous 1~00 .\ smaller animals (b) Rabies vaccination charge for dogs 4.00 (c) Copy of documents approved for-release. 1.00 '(d) Placement fee (1) Dogs 5.00 (2) Cats 3.00 (3). Other animals subject to MARKET placement VALUE (e) License fee for=. dogs 5.00 (Except dog license due after. January 1, which shall be prorata at fifty percent (50%) of above license fee.) (Any.person who fails or neglects to pay the license fee on or before the first day of September, Or on or before the elapse of fifteen (15) d~ays following the date that the license is otherwise due and payable shall be deemed delinquent under the fore- going provisions and shall pay a S2.50 penalty in addition to the prescribed license fee for the license.) = (Credit shall be allowed on a time prorata basis, ) -::- (f) Re-issue fee for lost dog license tag 1.00 (g) Impound fees (1) Impound fees for animals picked up by animal control personne I. Minimum (a) Large animal (horses,cowS, etc.) Actual cost or 820.00 (b) Medium animal (goats,sheep,pigs,etc.)Actual cost or $ 8,'00 (c) Dogs Actual cost or $ 4.00 (d) Cats Actual cost or $ 4.D0 (e) Miscellaneous animals Actual cost or S 4.00 (Except animals that are impounded more than once within a twelve (12) month period, will be charged above impound fee es plus fifty (50%) of .prior impounding charges. ) (h) Veterinary care (for impounded animals) (1)~ Dogs, cats or other small animals, per treatment 5.00 (2) Medium or large animals, per treatment 10.00 (3)' The County Director of the Division of Veterinary Public Health may charge the owner or custodian for veterinary care rendered to im- pounded animals.
