~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA, REZONING PROPERTY ON
~ 5 APPLICATION Z.C. 68-180 OF THE
TUSTIN PLANNING COMMISSION
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does
6 hereby ordain as follows:
V i. The City Council finds an~ determines:
8 a) That a proper application (NO. Z.C. 68-180) was
filed on behalf of the Tustin Planning Con'~nisslo~
9' to fezone the property described in 'Exhibit A
attached hereto and incorporated herein by this
I0 reference, from U (Unclassified) to C-1 (Retail
li Commercial)and R-4 (Suburban Residential):
1~ b) That the Planning Commission duly recomn~ended
said rezoning, after public hearing duly callerS,
13 noticed and held.
14 c) ~at the City Council duly called, noticed and
hel~ a public hearing on said application~
__ 15 d) That sai~ property should'be rezoned to the
C-1 (Rstail CG~aercial) and R-4 (Suburban Resi-
· 16 dential) Zones.
17 2. ~e subject property is hereby rezoned to the C-1
1~ (Retail Commercial)and R-4 (Suburban Residential) zones, and the
19 Zoning Map of the City of ~stin amended acc0rdingly~

C - 1 ZONING
All that certain land situated in the City of Tustin, County of
Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point in ~he center of First Street at a point
1185 feet East of the Southwest corner of Allotment No. 1 to
Leonor Yorba de ~wland ~y Decree of Partition of Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana, rendered September 12, 1868, said point
being the Southeast corner of land described in paragraph 2 (a)
of the Decree of Final Distribution to Zella Io Thomson and
recorded in Book ?~2F, page 943, Official Records of said
Orange County; thence North along th~ East line and its
Northerly prolongation of said Thomson land 8F1.4.5 feet to
the South line of Fourth Street, 100 feet wide; thence
Easterly along said SoUth line of Fourth Street to a point
on a line which is parallel with and 4.0.00 feet EaSt,
measured at right angles, from said East line and it's
Northerly prolongation; thence South along said p~rallel
line 871 feet, more or less, to said center of First Street;
thence West 40.00 feet to the point of beginning. Excepting
that portion dedicated for street purposes.

All that certain land situated in the City of Tustin, County of
.Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Commdnc!ng at a point in the center of First Street at a point
118~ feet East of the Southwest corner of Allotment No, 1, to
Leonor Yorba de Rowland by Decree of Partition of Rancho
Santiago de Santa Ana, rendered September 12, 1868, said point
being the Southeast corner of land described in paragraph 2 (a)
of the Decree of Final Distribution to Zella I. Thomson and
recorded in Book 7427, page 943, Official Records of said
Orange County; thence North along the East line of said
Thomson land 522.72 feet to the Northeast corner of said
Thomson land and to the true point of beginning; thence
continuing North along the Northerly prolongation of said
East line 348.73 feet to the South line of Fourth Street,
100 feet wide; thence Westerly along said South line of
Fourth Street to a point on a line which is parallel wit~
and ~0.00 feet West, measured at right angles, fro~ said East
line and its Northerly prolongation; thence South along said
parallel line 348 feet, more or less] to the North line of
said Thomson land; thence East 40.00 feet to the true point
of beginning.
