AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING CHAPTER 9 OF THE TUSTIN CITY CODE
RELATIVE TO FINANCE.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
does ordain that Article I of Chapter 9 of the Tustin City
Code is hereby amended as follows:
ARTICLE I
FINANCE
SECTION'9-1. Checks, Orders and Warrants, Authorization
No check, order or warrant. upon the City Treasury
shall be drawn unless in pursuance of an'ord'inance,
resolution, or motion duly passed by the City Council
and unless there is sufficient money in the treasury;
provided however that checks, orders or warrants for
salaries and approved obligations may be drawn in
advance and approved by the City Council at the next
regular meeting thereof.
SECTION 9-2. Signatures
All checks, orders or warrants shall bear the manual
signature of the City Administrator, together with
the Signature of either the .Mayor or the City
Treasurer.
SECTION 9-3. Records to be Kept
All records of checks, orders and warrants shall be
kept in accordance with modern, generally accepted~
municipal accounting practices, and xn accordance
with the laws of the City of Tustin and the State of
California.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 4th day of March, 1968.
