~ AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ADOPTING BY REFERENCE ORANGE COUNTY ORDINANCE
NO. 2159, WHICH IS AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO
ANIMAL CONTROL, WELFARE, LICENSE AND HEALTH
., 4 REQUIREMENTS
5 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does
6 ordain as follows:
-,. 7 Chapter ~ of the Tustin City Code is hereby amended to
8 read as follows:
9 "Section h-1:
10 "The Ordinance enacting Division 1 of Title h, relating
to animal control, welfare, license and health require-
.11 merits, adopted by the Orange County Board of Supervisors
as Ordinance No. 2159, three copies of which are on file
12 in the office of the City Clerk, establishing animal con-
trol, welfare, license and health requirements, is adopte¢
13 by reference, as if the same were set forth herein in full~,
with the exception of Section 1 thereof, which has refer-
.14 ence to the repeal of Division 1 of Title 4 of the Codi-
fled Ordinances of the County of Orange; and provided,
15 further that it shall be unlawful to keep maintain or
cause to be kept or maintained, on any single parcel of
16 property in the City of Tustin, the following:
17 "1) More than three dogs, except those under four months
of age;
18 "2) More than three common house cats, except those undeF
19 ,, four months of age;
l More than ten birds or fowl;
" More than ten hamsters, white rats, mice, squirrels,
20 chipmunks, non-poisonous snakes, insects, bees or
rabbits;
21 "5) Any animal, bird, fowl, insect, serpent or rodent not
22 permitted under any of the preceding subsections.
"and provided further, however, that no bird, fowl or
23 rabbit shall be maintained outside of a residence any closer
than fifty-(50) feet from any neighboring. residence.
