AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE, ORDINANCE NO. 157,
AS AMENDED, RELATIVE TO SMALL ANIMAL HOSPITALS
CLINICS AND KENNELS.
The City Council of the City of Tus~in, C~lifornia,
does ordain as follows:
The Zoning'Ordinance, Ordinance No. 157, as amended is
hereby amended as follows:
1."' Section 11.275 is hereby added, to read as follows:
Section 11.27~' "Kennel" Any. lot or Premises on
~hi~h more than the) dog-s, cats or similar
small animals, more than three (3) months of age,
are kept, boarded, or trained whether in special
buildings or not. '
2. Section 11.505 is hereby added to read as follows:
Section 11.505 Small Animal Hospital or Clinic
~'Place'wh~r~'sm~li' animalS,"' such as 'dogs, cat~
birds, and the like are given medical or sur~ii
cal treatment.
3. There is hereby added to Section 4.7 the following:
Small animal hospitals or 'clinics
Use Permit require~ .... Yes
Four ~4~ spaces per doctor plus one space for each
additional employee.
4. There is hereby added to Section.4.8 the following:
Small animal hospitals or clinics
Use Permit required .... Yes ..
Pour (4) spaces per. doctor plus one space for each
additional employee.
5- There is hereby added to. Section 4.9 the following:
Small animal hospitals or clinics
Use Permit required .... 'Yes
Four (4) spaces per doctor plus one space for each
additional employee.
6'. Section 5-75 is hereby added to read as follows:
~.ect. io~5.~. Small Animal Hospital or Clinics shall
be subject' to additional Provisions hereinafter set forth:
· a. All animals shall be kept within an enclosed air-
conditioned, soundproofed structure. '
b. Said hospital or clinics shall be so designed tha~
no odors will be discernible beyond the property
lines of the parcel on which it is located.
