AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN AMENDING THE
TUSTIN CITY CODE RELATIVE TO INHALATION OF GLUE VAPORS.
~ The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, doe
5 ordain as, follows:
8 Sections 16-9, 16-10 and 16-11 are hereby added to the
7 Tustin City Code, to read as follows:
8 Sec. 16-9 Inhalation of Fumes Prohibited.
9 No person shall, for the purpose of causing a condi-
tion of intoxication, euphoria, exictement, exhilaration
10 stupefaction, or dulling of the senses or nervous system!
inhale the fumes from any model glue or any other intoxi
11 cating, stupefying, exhilarating or anesthetic drug,
chemicaim or substance; provided, however, that this
12 Section shall not apply to the inhalation of any anesthe

Sec. 16-10 Definition of Glue

"Model glue" as used in this Chapter shall mean any

glue or cement of the type con~nonly used in the building
of model airplanes, boats, and automobiles, containing
· 16 toluene, acetone, or other solvent or chemical having
IV the property of releasing toxic or intoxicating vapors.
Section 16-11 Certain Possession Prohibited.

NO person shall, for the purpose of violating and
i9 or aiding another to violate any provision of this
Chapter, intentionally possess, transfer possession, or
20 receive possessibn of any model glue or other. intoxi-
cating, stupefying, exhilarating, or anesthetic drug,
21 chemical, or substance
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
25 Council, held on the 1st day of May, 1967.
