HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 341 (1967) ORDINANCE NO. 341 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, DESIGNATING RED HILL AVENUE IN THE CITY OF TUSTIN AS A COUNTY HIGHWAY. The City Council of the City of Tustin, California does ordain as follows: Section l: Under the authority of Section 1700, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the California Streets and Highways Code, State of California, the Board of Supervisors 0f the County of Orange have declared by Resolution that those portions of Red Hill Avenue between MacArthur Blvd. and the Santa Ana Freeway lying within the City of Tustin, COunty of Orange, State of California, to be a county Highway. Section 2: Under the authority of Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California, by this Ordinance, the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California, does hereby consent that this highway namely portio~of Red Hill Avenue shall become a county highway with respect to its construction, maintenance, improvements and repair. Section 3.: The consent granted by Section 2 of this Ordinance shall remain in effect until the County of Orange ~der the authority of Section 1704, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets and Highways Code, State of California, shall by Resolution relinquish its jurisdiction over said street at which time said 'street will again revert to the jurisdiction of the City. Section 4: That the City Council hereby finds and determines that the enactment of this Ordinance as an emergency, urgency measure is required for the preservation of public health and welfare, and this Ordinance shall go into effect immediately upon adoption.
