OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "'FREDRICKS ANNEXATION" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN, 8 CALIFORNIA. 4 BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN ~ W_HEREAS, on the 19th day of December, 1966, the Council 6 of the City of Tustin did pass and adopt Resolution No. 858, ~ giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited territo 8 to the City of TUstin, said territory being therein designated as 9 "Fredricks Annexation" said Resolution describing the boundaries 10 of the territory. proposed to be annexed; and 11 WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the ~Z day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City of Tu: 18 would .hear protests made by any person owning real property 14 the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing 15 being as prescribed by Law, and 16 WHEREAS, on the 16th day of January, 1'967 a~ the hour " 17 of 7~30 o'clock, P.M., in the Tustin Area YoUth Center, in the 18 City of Tustln, County of Orange, State of Csll-fornia, said time 19 and place being the da~, hour and place fixed in said Resolution 910 for hearing protests go the said annexation, the said City Council 21 did hear and pass upon all protests made to the proposed annex- ~Z ation and did determine that protests had not been made by the 28 owners of one-half of the vs],ue of the privately owned territory Z4 proposed to be annexed, as shown by the last equalized assessment P.5 roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the publicl~ 9.6 owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by said 27 legislative body; and Z8 WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of  29 Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange; 80 NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of Tus~in 81 does hereby approve the annexation of the territory hereinafter 89. described to the City of Tustin, and does hereby further ordain that the said territory be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tust in. That said territory, 'the annexation of which to the City of Tustin is hereby approved, is all the territory situate in the County of Orange, State,'of California, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at a point on the Northwesterly line of Lot 48, as shown on Plat No. i of the Rsnchos Santiago de Santa Ana and San Josquin, recorded in Book 5, Page 7 of Miscelianeous Records of Los Angeles County, California, and the North- westerly line of Lot 48, Block !l of the Irvine Subdivision, as shown on a map thereof re¢".-'.!.~d in Book l, Page 88, Miscellaneous Maps, records of 0range County, California, said point being distant 331.50 feet S. 0o38,32" W. from the Northerly corner of said Lot 48, said Northwesterly line also being the centerline of Newport Avenue (60.00 feet wide); thence, S. 40°38'32"W· along said Northwesterly lineof said Lot 48, ~:.distance of 329.05 feet, to the Westerly corner of the Northerly one-quarter of said Lot 48; thence, S. 49°21'28''E. along the Southwesterly'line of said Northerly quarter, a distance of 50.00 feet to an angle point in the existing boundary of the City of Tustin, California, ~s established by the McFadden-Newport Annexation, Ordinance No. 170, passed and adopted March 17, 1962; thence, continuing S. 49°21'28''E~ along said Southwesterly line and along said City boundary; a distance of 610.90 feet, to the Southerly corner of said Northerly one-quarter; thence, N. 40°38'32"E-, departing from said City boundary, along the Southeasterly line of said Northerly one-quarter, a distance of 319.85 feet; thence, N. 48°32'04''W., a distance of 661.10 feet to the point of beginning- PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the C~ty of Tustin, California, held on the 6th day of February, 1967- · ' MAYOR ATTEST: ~y ~ c~E ~0 ST~TE OF CALIFORNIA ) COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS CITY OF TUSTIN ) RUTH C.
