ORDINANCE NO. 330
1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE TO ALLOW HOME
9,~ OCCUPATIONS.
8 The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
~ does ordain as-follows:
5 1. The City Council finds and determines as follows:
8 a. That proper amendment proceedings have been
duly initiated.
b. That after public hearing duly called,
8 noticed and held, the Planning Commission
recommended adoption of the proposed
9 ord inance.
c. That said amendment should be adopted.
2. The Zoning Ordinance, Ordinance No. 157, as
amended, is hereby amended as follows:
18 a. Sections 4ol, 4.2, 4.3, ~.4, 4.5~ i~.6, 4.14,
4.15 are hereby amended by the addition to
14 each of said sections of the words "Home
Occupation" as a permitted use.

b. Section 1!.24 Home Occuoation is hereby
18 areaided to read as follows: An occupation
carried on wholly within a dwelling by an
17 occupant of the dwelling, as a secondary
use, in connection with which there is: No
:1.~ person employed. who is not a resident of the
premises, no exterior display, no stock-in-
19 trade or commodity sold upon the premises~
no mechanical or electrical equipment used
9.0 except such as is customary for housekeeping
purposes, no outside operations or sto.~age~
9.1 no alteration of the residential appearance
of the premises, no si~ns displayed, no
9.2 activity conducted which is hazardous to the
health, safety or welfare of the general
28 public, or which emits smoke, dust, fumes,
odors, vibrations, glare or electrical
~ disturbances onto any other premises, no
activity which generates excessive pedestrian
9-5 traffic or vehicular traffic or parkin~ in
excess of that otherwise normally found in
9.8 the zone, no parking or use made of any vehicl
over 3/4-ton ~arrying capacity, no parking in

of the home occupation.

Council of the City of Tustin~ California, held on the 19th day of December, 1966.
