AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
~,,. 9. ADDING SECTION 4-23 TO THE TUSTIN CITY CODE,
! REGULATING ANIMALS, POULTRY AND LIVESTOCK
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does
ordain as follows:

There is hereby added Go the Tustin City Code, Section
A~-23, to read as follows:
9 Section 4-23 Keeping of Animals and Birds
A) It shall be unla~ful to keep., maintain, or cause to
11 be kept 'or maintained on any single parcel 'of property, the following
in the City of Tustin:
18 1) Mo~e than-three dogs, 'except those under three
months of age,
14 2) More than three common house cats, except those
15 under three months of age,
'~ 3) More than ten birds or fowl.
..... 17 4) More than ten hamsters, white rats, mice,
squirrels, chipmunks, non-poisonous snakes,'
18 insects, bees or rabbits.
19 5) Any animal, bird, fowl, insect, serpent or ~odent
not permitted under any of the preceding sub~
90 sections.
9~1 B) No bird, ~fo~l or rabbit 'shall be maintained outside-
22 of a residence any closer than fifty feet (50'~ from.
~ 2~ any neighboring residence.
It is found and de~ermined that the preservation of
9.~ public health, safety and welfare requires mediate adoption of
26 this Ordinance as an urgency measure, effective .~.j~m.e..d_ia.tely. upon
