AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
CHANGING MOTOR SPEED LIMITS ON FOURTH STREET
BETWEEN NEWPORT AND 450' WEST OF CHARLOMA DRIVE,
TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
does ordain as follows:
It is hereby determined upon the basis of an engineering
and traffic investigation, that the speed limit permitted by
State law as applicable upon the following street, is greater
than is reasonable or safe under the conditions found to exist
upon said street, and it is hereby declared that the prima
facie speed limit shall be as herein set forth, on the parts
of said street herein designated:
NAME OF STREET AND DECLARED PRIMA
PORTION AFFECTED FACIE SPEED LIMIT
Fourth Street, from Newport Avenue 35 miles per hour
to 450' West of Charloma Drive, pre-
sently posted at 45 miles per hour.
It is found and determined that the preservation of
public health, safety and welfare requires immediate adoption
of this ordinance as an urgency measure, effective immediately
upon publication.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 6th
day of June , 19 66 .
