AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED
TERRITORY, DESIGNATED "FAIRMONT WAY
ANNEXATION" TO THE CITY OF TUSTIN,
CALIFORNIA
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN:
WHEREAS, on the 21st day of March, 1966, the Council
of the City of Tustin did pass and adopt Resolution No. 816,
giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninhabited
territory to the City of. Tustin, said territory being therein
designated as "Fairmont Way Annexation", said Resolution describing
the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the City of
Tustin would hear protests made by any person owning real property
within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said
hearing being as prescribed by Law, and
,,~ WHEREAS, on the 4th day of April, 1966, at the
hour of 7:30 o'clock, P.M.., in the Tustin Area Youth Center, in
the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California, said
time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said
Resolution for hearing protests to the said annexation, the said
City Council did 'hear and pass upon all protests made to the
proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not been
made by the owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned
territory proposed to be annexed, as shown by the last equalized
assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of the value of the
publicly owned territory proposed to be annexed as determined by
said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of
__ Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Orange;
NOW, THEEFOE, the said Council of the City of
Tustin does hereby approve ~he annexation of the territory here-
inafter described to the City of Tustin~ an~ does hereby further

City of Tustin~
That said territory, the annexation of which to the
City of Tustin is hereby approved, is all the territory situate
in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at an angle point in the existing City boundary of
Tustin, California, as established by the MARSHALL ANNEXATION,
by Ordinance No. 145 passed and adopted January 16, 1961,
said angle point being the Southwest corner of Lot ~ of Tract
No. 5743, as shown on s mso thereof recorded in Book 211,
Pages 33 and 34, Miscellaneous Ms~s, Records of Orange County,
California; thence, N. 00o 04' 30'~ E. along said City boundary
and along the most Westerly line of said Tract No. 5743, a
distance of 272.88 feet, more or less, to an angle point in
said City boundary and to the Southwest corner of that
certain parcel of land conveyed to the State of California
by deed recorded in Book 4278, Page 365, Official Records
of Orange County, California; thence, departing from said
City boundary, N. 87° 54' 57" E. along the Southerly line
of said parcel of land conveyed to the State of California
and along the Northwesterly line of said Tract No. 5743,
a distance of 175.85 feet to the Southeast corner of said
parcel of land; thence, N. 00° 14' 10" E. sl0ng the East
line of said parcel of land and along a West l~ne of said
Tract No. 5743, a distance of 50,001feet to the centerline
of Santa Clara Avenue as shown on said map of Tract No.
5743; thence, S. 89°'45' 50" E. along said centerline of
Santa Clara Avenue and along the North line of said Tract
No. 5743, s distance of I 4 4

of said Tract No. 5743; thence, S. 00o 04' 15" W. along
the East line of said Tract No. 5743, a distance of 330.02
feet to the Southeast corner of Lot 4 of said Tract No.
boundary; thence, ' 06" W. along said City
boundary also being the South line of said Tract No.
5743, 330 feet, more or less to the point of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the 18th day of April, 1966.

a regular meeting held on the 18th day of April _, 1966, by
