157, AS AMENDED, PROVIDING F0R GARAGES.

6 ordain as folIows:
7 The Zoning Ordinance of the Oity of ~ustin~ California~
8 Ordinance No, 157 , as amended, is hereby amended as follows:
9 1~ Section 11.22 is amended to read as follows:
11.'22 "Garage, Private" shall mean a detached~
_accessory building, or a portion of a main building
on the same lot as ~a dwelling, used primarily for
the housing of vehicles of the occupant of the
dwelling having a r6of, and enclosed on at least
three (~I sides, with the fourth side being a
lockable door.
2) There is hereby added a Section 11~221, to read as
~5 follows:
11.221 "0arport" shall mean a perm_~ent, roofed~
16 structure, used for automobile shelter and automobile
storage, in addition to the lockable storage herein-
~ after specified. Lockable, usable and accessible
~ storage space of at least ninety (90) cubic feet
~18 shall be provided in all carports,
~) Section 11~34 sh~!l be amended tq read as follows:
~0 ll.3~ "Paring Space" shall mean ,ccessible and
usable space on a building site, ~t least nine (9)
21 feet by twenty (20) feet, locate~ off the street
for the parking of automobiles. ~e parking space
22 per unit shall be provided in a g~e and/or car-
port. Parking required in excess of one space per
~,B unit need not be located in a garage or carport,
but must be located on a paved area on the same lot
2~ or parcel of land or contiguous thereto.
