~ AN OINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN
UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "RED HILL CENTER

5 BE IT ORDAINED BY T~ COUNCIL OF THE CI~ OF
~ WHEEAS, on the 20th day of September , 1965, the
V Council of the City of ~stin did pass and adopt Resolution
8 giving notice of the proposal to annex certain uninh~ited territory
9 to ~e City of Tustin~ said territory being therein designated as
I0 "RED HiLL CENTER A~NE~_TION", said Resolution describing the boun-
11 daries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
!2 WHEEAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the day,
15 hour and place when and where the Council of the City of ~stin woul~
1~ hear protests made by any person G,~ng real property within the
15 territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not
__ '18 less than forty (40) nor more than sixty (60) days from the date of
~ !~ passage of said Resolution; and
18 WHEEAS, on the 1st day of November, 1965, at the hour
19 of 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the Tustin Youth Center, in ~e City of
20 ~stin, County of Orange, State of California, said time and place
2! being the day, hour and place fixed in said Resolution for hearing
22 .protests to the said annexation~ the said City Council did hear and

paSS upon all protests made to the proposed annexation, and did
2~ detemine that protests had not been made by the owners of one-half
25 of the value of the privately owned. territory proposed to be annexed
28 as shown by the last e~a!ized assessment roll, nor by public owners

28 be annexed, as deteL~ined by said legislative body; and

Z the said territory be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustir
3 That said territory, the annexation of which to the
4 City of Tustin is hereby approved, is all that territory situate
5 in the County of Orange, State of California, more particularly
6 described as follows:
V Beginning at an angle point in the existing boundary of the City
of Tustin, California, as established by the Fourth Street

Annexation by Ordinance No, 216, said angle point being 'the
9 intersection of the Northwesterly line of Lot 1, Block 12 of
the Irvine Subdivision~ as shown on a map thereof recorded in
10 Book 1, Page 88, Miscellaneous Maps~ Records of Orange County,
California, with a line that is 50 feet South of, measured at
11 right angles to, and parallel with the surveyed centerline of
Fourth Street; thence, departing from said City boundary,
12 North 39°45' East, along the Northwesterly line of said Lot 1,
said Northwesterly line also being the surveyed centerline of
15 Newport Avenue, a distance of 559 feet, more or less, to the
Northerly corner of said Lot !, said Northerly corner also being
14 the Westerly corner of Lot 331, Block 13, of said Irvine Sub-
division; thence, continuing North 39°45' East, along the North-
15 westerly line of said Lot 331 and along said centerline of
Newport Avenue, a distance of 641 feet, more or less, to a
16 point that is 20 feet South 39°45' west from the Northerly
corner of the Westerly one-quarter (~) of said Lot 331, said
17 point being the intersection of the Northwesterly line of
said Lot 331 with the Northwesterly prolongation of the South-
18 westerly line of Wass Street (40 feet wide); thence, South
