HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 268 (1964)1198 ORDINANCE NO. 268 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA, AMENDING THE TUSTIN CITY CODE TO PROHIBIT DISCHARGE OF PROJECTILE. The City Council of the City of Tustin, California, does ordain that Section 15-11 of the Tustin City Code be, and the same hereby is amended to read as follows: Section 15-11: Firearms, Air Guns, etc .... Discharge Prohibited. It shall be unlawful for any person other than an officer of the laW, while on duty, to discharge any rifle, pisto~., or gun of any kind within the City, except in target shooting and in shooting galleries regularly licensed by the City. It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or discharge any air gun, spring gun, sling-shot, or any Other similar device within the City. It shall be unlawful for any person to throw, project, or cause ~o be thrown or projected, any object, missile, or projectile of any kind, toward or in the vicinity of any other person, in such manner as to constitute a hazard of bodily injury to such person. Usual and customary sports activities are hereby excepted from the prohibitions of this section. PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council, held on the 21st day of December, 1964.
