ORDINANCE NO. 267
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"BRYAN-RED HILL ANNEXATION NO. 2" TO THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT ORD~INED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN:
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, 1964, the
Council of the City of Tustin did pass and adopt~
Resolution No. 739, giving notice of the proposal to
annex certain uninhabited territory to the City of Tustin,
said territory being therein designated as "~BR~YAN-RED HILL.
ANNEXATION NO. 2", said Resolution describing the
boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the
City of Tustin would hear protests made by any person
owning real property within the territory proposed to
be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less
than forty nor more than sixty days from the date of
passage of said Resolution; and
WHEREAS, on the 3rd day of November, 1964, at
the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Tustin Youth Center, in
the City of Tustin, County of Orange, State of California,
said time ~nd place being the day, hour and place fixed
in said Resolution for hearing protests to the said
annexation, the said City Council did hear and pass upon
all protests made to the proposed annexation, and did
determine that protests had not been made by the owners
of one-hal~ of the value of the privately owned territory
proposed to be annexed, as shown by the last equalized
assessment roll, nor by public owners of oneshalf of the
value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be
annexed as determined by said legislative body; and
WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City
of Tustin, and is uninhabited territory in the County
of Orange;~

NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of
Tustin does hereby approve the annexation of the
territory hereinafter described to the City of Tustin,
and does hereby further ordain that the said territory
be and it is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin.
That said territory, the annexation of which to
the City of Tustin is hereby approved, is all that
territory s~tuate in the County of ~range, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:

Commencing at an angle point in the existing Tustin
City boundary ~s described in the Bryan-Red Hill Annexation
as per Ordinance No. 172, passed and adopted on June 4,
1962, said angle point being 50 feet Northwesterly of,
as measured at right angles to, the surveyed center l~e
of Red Hill !~.venue and being on the Northeast line of
the Southwesterly 93 feet of the Southeasterly 210 feet
of the Northeasterly 440 feet of the Southeasterly 495
feet of Lot 15, Block 12, Irvine's Subdivision as shown
on a map thereof recorded in Book l, Page 88, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, California;
Thence, following along said existing City boundary
the following courses and distance~:
~ 50°00'40" W., along the Northeast line of
said Southwesterly 93 feet, a distance of
160 feet to the most Northerly corner of
said Southwesterly 93 feet;
Thence, S. 39o5~'30" W. along theNorthwest line of
said Southwesterly 93 feet and along the Northwest line
of the Northeasterly 93 feet of the Southeasterly 210
feet of the Northeasterly 440 feet of the Southeasterly
495 feet of the Southwesterly 880 feet of said L~t 15,
a distance of 186 feet to the most Westerly corner of
said Northeasterly 93 feet.
