ORDINANCE NO. 266
AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF
CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY, DESIGNATED
"REVISED SANTA CLARA ANNEXATION" TO THE
CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN:
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of September, 1964, the
Council of the City of Tustin did pass and adopted
Resolution No. 740, giving notice of the proposal to
annex ~ertain uninhabited territory to the City of
Tustin, said territory being therein designated as
"REVISED SANTA! CLARA ANNEXATIONS, said Resolution
describing the boundaries of the territory proposed
to be annexed; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution contained a notice of the
day, hour and place when and where the Council of the
City of Tustin would hear protests made by any person
owning real property within the territory proposed to
be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than
forth nor more than sixty days from the date of passage of
said Resolution; and
WHEREAS~, on the 2nd day of November, 1964, at the
hour of 7:30 o'clock, P.M., in the Tustin Youth Center,
in the City of Tustin, County of .Orange, State of
California, said time and place being the hour, day and
place fixed in said Resolution for hearing protests to
the said annexation, the said City Council did hear and
pass upon all protests made to the proposed annexation, and
did determine that protests had not been made by the
owners of one-half of the value of the privately owned
territory proposed to be annexed, as shown by the last
equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-
half of the value of the publicly owned territory
proposed to be annexed. as determined by said legislative
body; and
WHEREAS!!', s~id territory is contiguous to the City ~f
Tusti~, and is uninhabited territory in the County of
Orange;
NOW, THEREFORE, the said Council of the City of T~stin
does hereby approve the annexation of the territory
hereinafter described ~Q the City of Tustin, and does
hereby further ordain that the said territory be and it
is hereby annexed to the City of Tustin.
T~at said territory, the annexation of which to the
City of Tustin is hereby approved, is all that territory
situate inthe County of~Orange, State of California,
more particularly described as!follows:

Commencing at an angle point in the existing City
boundary of Tustin as established by Yorba Street
Annexation No. Z~as!~per Ordinance No. 139, passed
and adopted by the City Council on September 6, 1960
said angle point being the Northeast corner of Loti~!,
Tract No. 3465 as shown on s map thereof recorded in
Book 120, pages 14 and 15, Miscellaneous Maps, Records
of Orange County, California, said corner being 40
feet Southerly of, as measured at right angles to,
the surveyed centerline of Santa Clara Avenue; thence,
departing from the existing City boundary S 89o53'55'' E.
along a line parallel to and 40. fset Southerly of, as
measured st right angles to the surveyed centerlin~'
of rSanta Clara Avenue, a distance of 407.31 feet;
thence N 0o01'00" W, a distance of 15.00 feet, to a
line parallel to and 25 feet Southerly of the.surveyed
centerline of Santa Clara Avenue; thence Si~890~3,~5', E,
along said parallel line, s distance'of353 feet,
more or less, to a line psrallelto and 25 feet
Westerly of, aslmeasured at right angles to the surveyed
centerline of ProspeCt Avenue; thence S 3o29'15" W,
along said parallel line a distance of ll5feet, more
or less, to the Northerly line of that certain parcel
offland as described in a deed recorded in Book 6861,
page 368, Official Records of Orange County, California;
thence N 89o53'55" W~along said North line, a
distance of 15 feet, more or less, to,~ line parallsl
to and 40 feet~Westerly of, as measured at right angles
to the surveyed centerline of Prospect Avenue; thence
S 3o29'15" W along said'parallel line, a distance of
205.10 feet, to the Northeast corner of Lot l, Tract No.
~2708, as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 90
page 25, Miscellaneous Maos, Records of Orange County
California; thence N 890~3 5.5" W, along the North line
of said Tract No. 2708, a distance of 724.38 feet, to
the Northwest corner thereof, said corner also being
an angle point in East line of said Tract NO. 3465, said
corner also being an angle point in the existing city
boundary as annexed. by said Yorba Street AnnexatimNo. 2;

thence, N 0001'00" W, along said East
line of said Tract No. 3465, also being
along said existing City boundary, a
distance of 304.41 feet, to the point
of beginning.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
City Council of the City of Tustin, California, held ~n
the 7th day of December, 1964.
