ORDINANCE N0. 243
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT ZONES.
The City Council of the City of Tustin does
ordain as follows:
Whereas, the City Council hereby finds, on
the basis of engineering and traffic studies, that the

Now therefore, the City Council of the City of

::;:j~ Section 1: That First Street, between
':~-' Prospect Avenue and lqewport Avenue be a 35 mile per hour

:~": port Avenue, be a 3~ mile per hour speed limit zone.
Section 3: That First Street, from 1320'
Southeast of Newport Avenue to Red Hill Avenue, be a
2~ mile per hour speed limit zone.

of Tustin Avenue to ~30' East of Lyon Street, be a
per .hour speed limit zone
That the City Traffic Engineer be, and he

hereby is authorized to place appropriate speed-zone
signs in accordance with the foregoing speed limit zones
It is further found and determined that the
public interest and necessity require the adoption and
passage of the Ordinance as an emergency and urgent
measure, and said Ordinance is hereby adopted on this
date.
Passed and adopted at a regular meeting of
the City Council at the City of Tustin, California, held

members of the City Council of the City of Tustin
is five; that the above and foregoing Ordinance
was duly and regularly introduced and read at
the regular meeting of the City Council held on

second reading and duly passed and adopted at
a regular meeting held on the ~th day of November,
1963, by the following vote:
