ORDINANCE NO. 242
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF TUSTIN, CALIFORNIA,
CHANGING ZONE ON APPLICATION NO. ZC 62-111 OF
SMYTH.
The City Council of the City of Tustin, California,
does ordain as follows:
Section 1: The City Council finds and determines
that a proper application (No. ZC 62-111) was filed by
Smyth for change from the "U" to "C-I" zone, the property
described as follows:
'~'hat portion of the Northeast 1/2 of Lot !?, Block
12 of Irvine's Subdivision as shown on a map thereof
recorded in Book 1, Page 88, Miscellaneous Maps Records
of Orange County, California.
Excepting the Southeast ?.??1 Acres of the Northeast
1/2 of said Lot I?, being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at the Easterly corner of said Lot 17;
thence southwesterly along the Southeast line of
said Lot 17, a distance of 661.15 feet to the
Southerly corner of the Northeast one-half of
said Lot 17; thence Northwesterly-along the South-
west line of said Northeast one-half, a distance
of 523.30 feet; thence Northeasterly parallel to
the Southeast line of said Northeast one-half,
a distance of 548.61 feet to a point on the Easterly
prolongation of the centerline of Main Street;
thence Easterly along said prolongation 175.14 feet
to a point on the Northeasterly line of said North-
east ~fie~atf~;ithence 56utheasterly along said
Northeast line, a distance of 389.15 feet to the
point of beginning.
Also excepting therefrom the portion included with
Main Street, Bryan Avenue and Newport Avenue.
Section 2: The Planning Commission duly called,
noticed and held apublic hearing on said application
and recommended said property be rezoned to C-1
Zone.
Section 5: The City Council duly called, noticed
and held a public hearing on said application on
October ?, 1963.
Section 4: The City Council finds and determines
that it is in the best interests of the subject
property, adjacent properties and adjoining uses
and in harmony with the general plan of the City
of Tustin that said property be changed to the C-1
Zone.

lished as shown on the attached plat marked Exhibit

Council of the City of Tustin, California, held on the
fourth day of November, 1963.
